Service types and times at St. Michael’s Church, Whichford

St. Michael’s Church offers various services, with an emphasis on the traditional Book of Common Prayer (BCP) services. The service types and timings are changed slightly as of 2009, as detailed below. The church regularly offers the following service types:

Morning Prayer: from the Book of Common Prayer

Holy Communion (BCP): from the Book of Common Prayer

Family Service: a new, short (about 20 minutes) service for all ages, but designed principally to be child friendly. Starting February 2009. It is intended that these services will be followed by an informal hot drink or fruit squash in the Reading Room.

Holy Communion (CW): Common Worship is a more contemporary Holy Communion service, for those who prefer this.
