WHICHFORD AND ASCOTT WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

All meetings are held in the Reading Room, Whichford (in front of St Michael’s church) on the first Tuesday in the month at 7:15 p.m.

Our main aims are friendship and enjoyment but we also learn new skills, share ideas and support village life. We have a number of outings each year.  New members and visitors are always welcome but particularly so at our open evenings when we expect a number of men who are  interested in the subject to come along.

Our  Christmas dinner was held at the Norman Knight in December and a good time was had by all.

There will be no meeting in January so I will look forward to meeting everyone again on Tuesday 7 February 2012 when Alan Wolstencroft will come to update us on the Rotary Mission Challenge to Africa.
